Gerda’s Table had a wonderful group of guests to cater for on Sunday 8 September. All the ingredients were there for a beautiful day of celebration, enjoyment, laughter, a stunning location and delectable food and wine!
Congratulations to Ricci Dionaggi on his 75th birthday, may life only give its best to you for many years to come. Ricci and Riana are well known holiday residents in Yzerfontein with their own holiday home. They chose to celebrate at a spectacular venue with their 30 guests which were chosen by Gerda’s Table for this very special occasion.
It was an absolute joy to cook for their group and to provide them with beautiful laid tables overlooking the pristine beach of Yzerfontein with endless views of the ocean. The Harvest table provided a spread of delicious seasonal dishes which was paired for them to their wines of choice. One of the personal joys were seeing the children coming back for seconds and the many empty platters afterwards.
This makes the planning, the sourcing, the setting up of the venue and the cooking all worth it. I believe when you have a passion for what you do, it is a joy! Thank you for your support Ricci and Riana Dionaggi.
