Meet Gerda Mouton, Cape Wine Master and West Coast Chef

Gerda Mouton – Founder and owner – Gerda brings decades of experience in running small businesses in the food and wine lifestyle sector. After establishing Gerda’s Table in 2019 she expanded the team and set out to turn the company into the best catering company on the West Coast and beyond. She is passionate about service, presentation, and food and she wants to hear from you if you have any feedback at all. Gerda is an award winning Cape Wine Master, Self-taught chef who has a long lineage of excellent home cooks in her family, expanded her own food knowledge through international travel with her wine export business and as a Cape Wine Master worked closely with many chefs while pairing wines and assist with the development of chefs menus. Our extended team consist of a fine dining chef, sous chef and griller, kitchen assistants and our admin staff for orders, stock control, quotes and bookkeeping. Our people is our community and the root of all our accomplishments. At Gerda’s Table we are driven by a commitment to connecting people through exemplary dining experiences.
